Events Coordinator

Description

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Events Coordinator. This role supports our conference and trade show schedule, lead generation, lead conversion and customers expanding their use of nanopore technology. The job holder will work closely with the existing Marketing team, Market Development, Sales and Product Management to create events that best address the needs of each market.

The Details...

We attend a variety of events to reach potential and current customers about the use of Nanopore technology. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and planning the conference schedule, organising our presence at trade conferences and administering the various Nanopore days. External events include booths, sales events, satellite events and speaking invitations. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing Marketing, Market Development, Sales and Product Management teams to create events that best address the needs of each market.

In addition, this role is also responsible for developing and cascading external communications to promote Company events and conference attendance. Managing internal communications, prioritising and maintaining timelines on multiple projects requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver results to a high standard.

Other responsibilities include:

• Lead tracking and follow up using CRM system
• Completing pre and post-conference briefings including reporting on ROI
• Administrative activities to support events
• Collateral management
• Working with external contractors and internal stakeholders on all events
• Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on multiple projects
• Assisting in the planning and coordination of London Calling and Nanopore Community Meetings, and Nanopore Days

What We're Looking For...

We'll expect you to have a proven track record in organising logistics or events and the ability to work proficiently with external contractors and internal stakeholders as this is key to ensuring that Oxford Nanopore's presence is both strong and innovative. You'll be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve, work independently and have a good eye for detail. Ideally, you'll hold a relevant degree in either Life Sciences, Business or Marketing with knowledge of the life sciences sector.

This role will suit someone who works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and who can work proactively with multi-disciplinary teams across the business to achieve conference goals.

The salary for this role is between $80,610 and $120,915 USD. The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience of the candidate.

Certain roles within ONT are eligible annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
